Wake up and feel amazing with nourishing oats. Not only are oats filling, but they are also highly nutritious containing beta-glucan, a soluble fibre which supports our immune system. These oats are particularly delicious baked with a toasted crunchy top!

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 cup oats

  • 30g almonds, roughly chopped

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 2 tsp butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup preferred frozen berries

  • Yoghurt to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190˚C

  2. Combine all ingredients in a small baking dish.

  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is nicely golden.

  4. Serve with a dollop of yoghurt.
