blueberry + vanilla baked oats

Oats are such a nourishing breakfast option! If you haven't tried baked oats yet you really need to. We have an amazing berry baked oats recipe in our ebook The Bare Kitchen. They're so comforting and delicious and almost feel like having dessert for breakfast. For this recipe we increseased the nutritional value by adding in some organic pea and hemp protein. Having protein in the morning is helpful for blood sugar regulation, the formation of neurotransmitters (healthy moods) and of course satiety to keep you fuller for longer.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
1 banana, mashed
2 handfuls blueberry (fresh or frozen)
2/3 scoop The Newtrition Co Plant Based Vegan Protein Powder Vanilla Flavour

Method: Preheat oven to 180C. Combine ingredients in a baking dish and bake for 25-30mins or until the top is nicely golden.
